Clinical Interns

Heather Normandin is a University of Buffalo Graduate Program Mental Health Counseling intern. She holds Permanent New York State Certification as a school psychologist and has over 20 years of experience teaching and supporting individuals ages preschool to adulthood through client-centered, evidence-based, educational and counseling practices.

My core belief is that all individuals are in an ever-changing state of psychological growth and development. Entering into the therapeutic relationship from an integrative, person-centered framework, my goal is to promote positive change and well-being supporting adolescents and adults in the creation of a life centered in personal authenticity and meaningful connections through mindful awareness, self-compassion, cognitive flexibility, and value based committed action.
